PD4500 Hydraulic Puller-Tensioner
The PD4500 hydraulic puller-tensioner from Condux Tesmec provides excellent capacity and capability for stringing projects.
The four-drum puller-tensioner can string pilot or pulling ropes with both pulling and tensioning capability. The unit offers a max capacity of 22,000 ft of 1/2 inch rope or 40,000 ft of 3/8 inch rope and features four drums, providing 2 x 5,000 lbf (22 kN) of pull force, also allowing one drum to pull-back and one to pay-out under controlled tension. The PD4500 has four independent level winders. Each level winder is hydraulically driven, and two level winders can work simultaneously.
Also included is the new digital interface with a 7-inch color display and integrated pull and speed recorder. The PD4500 can be operated with a radio remote control that integrates with the new digital HMI providing automatic power management and full safety controls.
