With an electric motor, the PE1250 eliminates the need for hydraulic components such as hydraulic motors, pump and valves, and requires no oil. The unit’s silent operation makes it ideal for almost any location, while the electric power system generates zero emissions. The PE1250 delivers a maximum pull force of 11,240 lbf (50 kN) and offers and an advanced user interface and remote control.

The PE1250 is environmentally friendly. That’s one of the most significant aspects of the new puller. In terms of underground pulling, on this scale, the puller is an industry exclusive. Without a traditional combustion engine, the unit is exceptionally quiet, and you don’t have the emissions. The electric motor eliminates the need for hydraulic components such as hydraulic motors, pumps and valves. Plus, there is no diesel fuel, engine oil or hydraulic fluid to worry about. 

The unit is equipped with a 350-volt battery pack that is chargeable via 220-volt outlet.  It takes about 4 hours to completely charge the battery pack.

As far pulling capacity and the ability to work for an entire day, the unit will provide the same pull force and capability as any other puller in that class. This puller delivers a maximum pull force of 11,240 lbf., which is substantial.

Eventually, the industry is going this way. Electric motor technology is going to be applied to other products in the Condux Tesemc line of cable pulling and stringing equipment.
