PT1252 Hydraulic Puller and Tensioner

The PT1252 offers 11,240 lbf (50 kN) of pulling or tensioning capacity for power line stringing and is designed for stringing one rope or one conductor. The bull-wheels on the PT1252 are 71 in (1,800 mm) in diameter and can accommodate conductor/rope up to 2 inches (51 mm) in diameter. Additional sectors are available for VRA/T2 conductor. The PT1252 features a new digital interface with automatic power management and full safety controls making it one of the most advanced pieces of conductor stringing equipment available.

A negative-brake maintains line tension in the event the pull is stopped or power/hydraulic pressure is lost. No operator action is required to initiate this feature. The unit’s hydraulic rope/conductor clamp allows for fast, easy and safe reel change operations.
